INSET DAY / One child is back to school today (yay and booo) with just one more to go back tomorrow. If you’re a parent you’ll totally understand the feelings of wanting to spend as much time as possible with your kids whilst also simultaneously wanting them back at school so you get a moments peace from the squabbling. Our two boys are currently going through a very competitive stage at the moment which makes things interesting (polite way of explaining it!🤪)
Im acutely aware that I have a full inbox that needs dealing with after having very little time in the office over the last two weeks, and Steven and I have a to do list that is growing by the minute. Despite living and working together, I swear we have no time to talk through anything at the moment.
During the day we are too busy and in the evenings we just don’t have any energy! I guess that’s just being an adult though right?
Today we have done a fly by of all three live projects we have which has been useful to click me back into work work mode as opposed to kids school holiday with a pinch of work on the side mode….
I’m aware I still have a site tour to film for you to explain what occurring down at the new build. Promise that I’ll get round to it…..once I’ve tackled that inbox that is!

SPRING HAS SPRUNG / What a way to start the Easter Holidays.
Was so blown away by the 100 varieties of tulips planted @tulleystulips @tulleysfarm that I couldn’t not do a shout out on here to urge you all to go before they finish.
They have cleverly been planted in stages so there are always flowers to see whilst this festival is on.
Funny story- Mum and Dad made a special trip once to go see the tulip fields over in Holland only to be so disappointed when they got there that the weather had been so bad that season none of them were out. Bless them!
Anyway, a go at the poll to have a guess how many bulbs were planted

BEFORE & AFTER/ The last units in this project are coming on now. The last two weeks have seen a massive push forward.
I was looking through files and came across the ‘before’ of this area. I’d forgotten how sad it was looking when we bought it.
Subtle changes in fairness due to the sensitive material choices, but shows a huge difference when placed side by side don’t you think?
Believe it or not we bought this building in 2018. This highlights how long some projects (for various reasons) can take!
The end is not yet in sight for this project, but it’s getting closer! 😅
